Translate the content of your Moodle platform automatically with AI

We have extended the "Multilingual content" filter in Moodle with an interface to Deepl and added some additional functions. This makes it easy to translate your Moodle content with AI support.

The "Multilingual content" filter allows you to create content in different languages. This means that you as a teacher enter the content in several languages and the filter ensures that the participants are shown the content in exactly the language that they have selected as their preferred language in their user profile.

With the "Inline translation" function, you can translate all Moodle content with a simple graphical interface. On an overview page, you can see which content has already been translated and where translations are still missing. We have added an interface to deepl.com and developed further functions to make your translation work easier.

Advice on automatic translation

The eLeDia Translate product is based on existing open source plug-ins, which we have enhanced with additional functions and configured individually for you.

Inline translations

We install the existing Content Translations Filter in your Moodle installation and show you how the inline translation works.

Deepl.com interface

We connect the content translation filter to Deepl.com using an API interface. This means that all content is automatically translated into the selected target languages.

Integration into the Tiny editor

If you use the TinyMCE_Editor, translation hash keys are automatically generated as soon as you edit content.

Control via tags

With the additional functions we have developed, you can control which courses are to be translated automatically.
